General Overview

Join Noble Research Institute agricultural researchers, operational staff and consultants on a tour around two Noble farms, the Oswalt Ranch and Red River Research and Demonstration Farm.

The Noble Oswalt Ranch is our centralized cattle shipping, receiving and processing facility. There, attendees will see demonstrations of our processing and data collection techniques, and the application of the GrowSafe Technologies, used by applied systems researchers to measure and study individual cattle efficiency.

The Noble Red River Research and Demonstration Farm includes a newly constructed grazing facility, which is a 640-acre focused on matching targeted cattle outcomes with introduced forages. Designed with more than 130 4-acre grazing paddocks, this facility will allow researchers to further understand the interactions of soil, forages and cattle with the long-term goal of more profitable and resilient cattle production systems.

Attendees will learn about some of our applied agricultural systems research efforts, results and technologies, such as herd management systems, replacement heifer development, cattle and grazing alignment for targeted outcomes, and technology applications that make sense for producers and pecan management strategies.
