Max Armstrong introduces a report from Steve Bridge about robotics and machine learning in agriculture from Purdue University. Cotton is growing in areas beyond the Deep South and the Texas plains, Jamie Johansen visits New Madrid, Missouri to learn about the crop there.

Max Armstrong introduces a report from Delaney Howell at Purple Ribbon Beef run by the Recknor family who sells their beef directly to consumers via a local locker. Then a visit to the auction barn with Colleen Callahan who reports on Grand Champion Auctioneer, Brian Curless, from the Fairview Sale Barn in Fairview, Ill. Russell Nemetz visits with an auctioneer just starting out, 13-year-old Connor Cook from Huntley, Mt.

Max Armstrong visits with Vance Lundell of Lundell Plastics in Odebolt, Iowa about his firm’s approach to the ag business and its impact on his local community.

Part 6

In this week’s FFA Chapter Tribute, Max Armstrong profiles the LaRue County FFA, of LaRue County, Ky. chartered in 1958, now has 150 members. Member Sydney Pepper talks about the preparations involved in the ag communication contest.

Part 7

Max Armstrong takes a look back at his visit to Stew Paquette’s International Harvester Museum in Leesburg, Fl. Stew didn’t grow up around a farm but fell in love with IH tractors after watching Max himself driving a tractor on This Week in Agribusiness.
