Part 4

Max Armstrong and Steve Bridge share a report from Chad Colby who reported from the American Farm Bureau Federation convention. Steve Bridge shares the latest USDA crop report numbers in the Jan. 12 report, which had a range of records. Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Eastern United States. Max Armstrong shares the story of a 1954 Farmall Super MTA owned by Elwood Walk, Monroe Center, Ill. Mr. Walk recently passed away but Max shares the impact he had on a young farmer.

Part 5

Max Armstrong and Steve Bridge talk with Melissa Gregory, KFEQ Radio, St. Joseph, Mo., about hot topics for farmers in that part of the country. And in the Bayer Farm Challenge of the Week, Brad Ray, Rabobank, shares that farmers should work on tactics to preserve equity.

Part 6

Steve Bridge profiles Platte Valley FFA, Kersey, Colo. This active group conducts a number of programs including one of the largest livestock and horse shows in the West run by students. Member Lily Helzer offers a look at what she learns in the chapter. Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the week ahead.

Part 7

And this week’s show wraps up with a report from Russell Nemetz, who profiles another regional finalist in the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Environmental Stewardship Awards – Munson Angus Farms. Junction City, Kan.
