Exhibitors led 100 entries at the 2017 Nebraska State Fair Angus Roll of Victory (ROV) Show, August 30 in Grand Island, Neb. Brandon Callis, Minco, Okla., evaluated 61 heifers, 33 bulls and six cow-calf pairs before selecting champions.

KR Casino 6243 claimed grand champion bull honors. Krebs Ranch, Gordon, Neb., and Badger Creek Cattle Co., Emporia, Kan., own the January 2016 son of CFCC Black Jack 001. He first won junior champion.

Andrew Hodges, Montague, Texas, led the reserve grand champion bull. DAJS HH Bonfire 300 is a March 2015 son of DAJS After Burn 714. He first won senior champion.

Moffitt Rosebud M671 captured grand champion female. Hannah Mitchell, Prescott, Iowa, owns the July 2016 daughter of HFS First Class 113. She first won intermediate champion.

Miranda Raithel, Falls City, Neb., showed the reserve grand champion female. Colburn Saras Dream 6230 is an April 2016 daughter of EXG RS First Rate S903 R3. She first won junior champion.

BC 327-8 CP Belle 0-807 was named grand champion cow-calf pair. Trey Conley, Clarksdale, Mo., owns the October 2010 daughter of BC Pure Pride 327-8. A January 2017 heifer calf sired by BC Surveyor 680D completes the winning pair.

Jayce Dickerson, Paradise, Kan., showed the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Bar S Pride 3695 is an April 2013 daughter of B C Lookout 7024. An April 2017 heifer calf sired by Bar S Charlo 5092 completes the pair.
