The National Center for Beef Excellence is pleased to welcome Megan Gregory to its growing team. Gregory hails from Blue Springs, Missouri, and brings a wealth of experience in customer service, agriculture and the beef industry, along with a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships with the producers NCBE serves.

As a lifelong “horse girl,” Gregory has been involved in the western and agricultural industries her entire life. Her path into the beef industry began in 2020 when she joined Cargill’s Olathe team to support ranchers in Texas. As a customer service representative, she worked across multiple teams involved in moving cattle through the beef supply chain.

The role gave Gregory the opportunity to get to know cattle producers, learn the beef business and gain a new perspective around what it takes to build relationships through service.

Most recently, Gregory has served the industry as an on-call ER Practice Manager, and shares that while the experience was rewarding, she missed working with producers.

“I missed the relationships I had with my ranchers, and I really missed that community and feeling like I was making a difference there,” Gregory says. “That was the biggest part of what I enjoyed about working in agriculture. You get to know the people you’re working with, you understand what they’re trying to accomplish, and you have the opportunity to contribute to an industry and a community that really matters.”

The listing for a Customer Experience Representative with NCBE appealed to her immediately.

“I’m so excited to get back to serving ranchers and start building those relationships again.”

For NCBE Executive Director Jake W. Renner, adding Gregory to the team is another step in supporting NCBE growth and progress.

“As NCBE continues to grow, having the right people in place has never mattered more,” Renner says. “Megan brings experience working directly with cattle producers, but just as importantly, she understands the value of relationships and how to truly build relationships with our producers. We’re excited to have her on our team and for producers to get to know her.”
